L&R Roadlines were delighted to once again provide new track markings at CarFest North, which took place at Bolesworth, Cheshire on 27-29th July. CarFest is an annual event, founded by TV personality Chris Evans in 2012. The whole weekend camping festival raises money for Children In Need and features a mixture of cars, food, drink and live music. This year the acts included no less than Razorlight, George Ezra, Rick Astley and Jools Holland. To date, it has been attended by more than 600,000 visitors raising over £10.5 million for Charity.
According to an L&R Roadlines spokesperson: “We are proud to once again help support such a prestigious event that contributes so much to charity. Over the next few days this track will be home to some of the most magnificent cars around. Our expert liners helped to achieve not only an extremely neat looking job but helped ensure that those vehicles get around the track safely”.
On the evening of Wednesday 25th July, a lining crew from L&R Roadlines installed over 3km of temporary edge lines and a finish line on the track in just over four hours. Just days later, the newly installed, bright white lines would help drivers navigate some of the world’s most prestigious supercars around the track.
